Outcome of 2021 Learner admissions
The Northern Cape Department of Education can confirm that the process of verifying all admission supporting documents continues for some schools for the 2021 school academic year. The Department has already started to issue system generated sms to parents/ legal guardians on the outcome of the admission applications. We would further like to emphasize that the system generated sms will be issued up to the 15th of December 2020. So there will be no need to panic, if you don't receive an sms during this week.
Parents will be required to log on to the www.ncdoeadmissions.org website to either accept or decline the placement. Appeals must be lodged with the Office of the MEC within 7 days from receiving a notification from the school. Appeals will only be considered if they are based on incorrect/unfair application criteria as set by the Head of Department. Parents will be notified on the outcome of their Appeal after the 15th of December 2020.
We depend on the cooperation of all parents/legal guardians for the successful start of the 2021 school academic. It is our collective responsibility to ensure that we fulfill the constitutional right of every learner in the Province, which is the right to education.
