Speaking after the tournament South African Schools Football Association Northern Cape president Dickson Moleko praised all the players who took part in the one day tournament, he said there is huge talent amongst all the players.

“All the teams showed the enthusiasm to win the tournament, but unfortunately there had to be one winner in the day, we can proudly say we are not going to add numbers when we travel to Gauteng, we are going for gold.

In this kind of tournament players get exposed to players scouts coming from different professional soccer teams, we want to see our boys being selected and join big teams, already we have a player like Thato Mokeke from Kimberley who is now making his trademark at Super Sport United, he was also part of this games, so we need more players to follow that route”, Moleko said.
