Handing over of Edukite hard and software

The Northern Cape Department of Education has, in its attempt to enrich the understanding and expression of subject content, procured Edukite hard and software for Mathematics and Physical Sciences for Grade 12 and Natural Science for Grade 9.  The provision and utilization of this Edukite resource which speaks to the Premier's vision of a Modern, Growing and Successful province that prioritize quality education will provide an invaluable platform for teachers to strengthen content knowledge and classroom pedagogy and, ultimately, stimulate and enhance learners’ grasp of especially abstract and problematic content.  

We have identified 240 teachers who will receive a laptop loaded with the CAPS-aligned content of the relevant subject.  These teachers will all undergo a rigorous two-day training from Friday, 2 August  until Saturday, 3 August 2019 to enable them to understand the benefits of this resource as a lesson enhancer and utilize it correctly and optimally in the classroom.

The MEC for Education, Mr Mac Jack will open the gathering and training session on Friday, 2 August 2019 at 14:00, Northern Cape High School.
