ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE 2021 MATRIC RESULTS
PREMIER DR. ZAMANI SAUL TO ANNOUNCE PROVINCIAL 2021 MATRIC RESULTS
The Premier of the Northern Cape, Dr Zamani Saul together with the MEC for Education, Mr Zolile Monakali will release the 2021 National Senior Certificate (NSC) Examination results on Friday, 21 January 2022 in Kimberley. This will be done during the 2021 Matric Awards ceremony to acknowledge the Province’s top performing learners.
As a Province we commend all the learners, parents, principals, invigilators and all the departmental staff for their invaluable support and commitment to ensure a credible NSC examination, free from any irregularities.
The marking of candidates’ scripts in public examinations is one of the most challenging but rewarding exercises. This is due to the fact that the National Senior Certificate Examinations need intense and prolonged concentration, coupled with validity, reliability, consistency and accuracy. Besides producing a mark, the outcome of the marking of each candidate must be a reflection of the extent to which the knowledge, skills and other competencies have been demonstrated. It is critical for the integrity and credibility of the NSC Examination that the marking is conducted with the necessary professionalism, care and dedication.
The 2021 Matric Awards Ceremony is scheduled as follows:
Date: Friday, 21 January 2022
Time: 11:00
Venue: Taberna Dei Diamantstad, Kimberley
Members of the media are invited to cover the 2021 Matric Awards. Interviews will be conducted after the Release of Matric Results and the Awards Ceremony.
