EMT paving the way forward
Mr. Gideon Oliphant, the acting head of education, is currently in Upington, ZFM district, for a three-day extended Executive Management Team meeting.
The goals of these engagements are to clarify the path forward for providing high-quality education and to resolve and revive the strategies and interventions that enhance the outcomes for both educators and learners. Amongst others, the agenda includes discussions about the outcomes of grades R–11 in 2023, an examination of the NSC results for 2023, and a profile of the 2023–2024 grade 11 and 12 classes. The district directors are also offered the chance to present an refection of issues in their own districts and their district-specific improvement goals for 2024 on the first day.
HOD Oliphant concluded the first day by urging the management team to work together and actively collaborate in order to guarantee that the system gets the assistance it needs to handle all of the problems in a timely and effective manner
