THE FIRST FACE TO FACE PROVINCIAL QLTC STEERING COMMITTEE MEETING.
The meeting that was convened under the theme ‘leave no one behind’ today was inclusive of different stakeholders, just to name a few,Curriculum, touching on their turnaround strategies,Exams,speaking to the 2023 NSC examinations and the Department of Home Affairs(DHA).
There was also an update on the upcoming SGB elections with an emphasis on the importance of everyone’s involvement.
IEC gave a presentation on how the voter registrations have been unfolding as well.
Since education is a societal issue,there was in the midst, NGO’s and NPO’s.
Amongst those,there was a 15 year old lady who goes by the name Unamandla Vilakazi from the Unamandla Foundation,who in her own words stated that she is a big advocate for Education,who also is the current Miss Teen Mundial.
She spoke fondly of inspiring other kids who are in her age group and her love for education.
