Recruitment System, GovRecruit launch
Together with the MEC responsible for Education, Mr. Abraham Vosloo, the Premier, Dr. Zamani Saul launched the Northern Cape Department of Education’s E-Recruitment System, GovRecruit.
The system is one of the ways Government is making sure that recruitment processes are streamlined. Ensuring accessibility for all applicants.
GovRecruit is also built to integrate key Government platforms such as the PERSAL Mainframe, which itself links to the Department of Home Affairs. The next step would be to integrate this system with the South African Council for Educators database and the Child Protection and Sexual Offences registers, further strengthening vetting processes and ensuring safe and compliant appointments.
