PREMIER DR. ZAMANI SAUL LAUNCHES THE MULTI-YEAR EDUCATION IMPROVEMENT PLAN
The Premier Dr. Zamani Saul together with the MEC for Education this evening launched the Multi-Year Education Improvement Plan 2035. The plan is a major milestone that allows us to better utilise the resources at our disposal. This plan allows the Province to mobilise partners, additional resources and collective action toward systemic educational improvement.
As a province, we are in agreement with the assertion that when societies provide children with strong foundations to build healthy and productive lives, it secures the future prosperity and well-being of everyone.
Through this Plan, we will ensure rigorous reporting and monitoring, that every contribution translates into tangible improvements in instructional leadership at all tiers of the education department, strengthen classroom practices, teacher and learner support, and yielding improved learner outcomes.
The Northern Cape Provincial Government is confident that the overall future outcomes of the education system in our Province will ultimately yield the desired results.
